Dr. Sammy Pittman

Dr. Pittman grew up in a ranching/farming community and had his first experience shoeing horses at the age of 15. Throughout college and veterinary school he continued to shoe horses and spent summers in the Sierra Mountains of California shoeing pack horses.

After graduation in 2003, he met his mentor Dr. Ric Redden of the International Equine Podiatry Center, reigniting his interest in equine hoof pathology.

In 2010 he and his wife opened Innovative Equine Podiatry and Veterinary Services PLLC in Tulsa, OK. In 2015 the practice moved to Collinsville, TX. IEPVS is one of the few podiatry exclusive veterinary practices in the United States. Dr. Pittman, his wife Kellee, daughter Mesa and son Ridge all enjoy the intimate relationship with clients and their horses.
