Robbie Miller

Robbie owns and manages a highly successful multi-farrier practice in Cape Town, South Africa. Robbie is a highly qualified farrier with over 35 years of professional experience. He holds an Associate of the Worshipful Company of Farriers (AWCF) (UK), which is equivalent to an OFQUAL Level 5 undergraduate degree in farriery.

He is also an AFA Certified Journeyman Farrier and an Advanced Skills Farrier (ASF) certified through the Farrier International Testing System (FITS). Robbie serves as the Chief Examiner for FITS in South Africa and is the first South African to examine farriers in both the USA and Australia.

In 2023, Robbie made history as the first African ever to be inducted into the International Horseshoeing Hall of Fame. He has represented South Africa numerous times in international farrier and blacksmith competitions and won back-to-back “Best Shod Foot” trophies at the WBC competition in the USA in 2014 and 2015.
